Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility
The Fulbright Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), is committed to promoting mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries through educational and cultural exchanges. ECA is dedicated to integrating diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) into all aspects of its mission. In September 2022, the Bureau reinforced this commitment by releasing an updated DEIA statement, underscoring its importance to both the Bureau and the Department.
For over 75 years, USIEF has championed Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in every facet of its work. We welcome applications from all individuals, regardless of age, religion or belief, socio-economic status, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. USIEF particularly encourages applications from traditionally underrepresented communities in its grant programs and activities.
At USIEF, we strive to cultivate a work culture where every individual, regardless of background, identity, or ability, feels valued and empowered to contribute their best. By embracing diverse perspectives and experiences, we foster innovation, creativity, and growth.
We are proud to support diversity, inclusion, and access for all and remain committed to advancing this vital work.
