USIEF hosts 2026 Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program cohort in India
Nineteen U.S. K–12 teachers travelled across Delhi and eight host cities, taking part in an immersive program combining educational, cultural, and community experiences. Through school visits, classroom exchanges, interactions with Indian educators and Fulbright alumni, the cohort gained new perspectives on global education. A key theme this year was AI in education, with visits showcasing how schools are leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance teaching and equip students with the skills needed for an increasingly technology-driven world.
Funded by the U.S. Department of State and administered by IREX, the Fulbright TGC Program continues to foster global understanding by connecting educators, exchanging ideas, and building lasting partnerships across borders.
Thank you to our host institutions, partners and Fulbright alumni who made this program such a success.
