Heritage Walk for US Fulbright-Nehru Scholars in Chennai

Chennai-based American Fulbright-Nehru Scholars had a taste of the December-January cultural season in Chennai through a unique heritage walk organized by the US-India Educational Foundation. Led by Dr. Suresh Sethuraman, a Fulbright-Nehru alumnus, the heritage walk team visited the 16th century Luz Church built by the Portuguese and the 400-year-old Kapaleeswara temple (originally built in the 9th century) followed by a late evening Bharatnatyam dance performance against the backdrop of this temple.

A participant said, “It was lovely meeting the other Fulbrighters, and the ‘talk and walk’ was excellent.”
