US Fulbright-Nehru Alumna Edits Anthology

Sheba Karim, Fulbright-Nehru Senior Researcher in 2009-10 has edited an anthology, ‘Alchemy: The Tranquebar Book of Erotic Short Stories 2’. Alchemy’s thirteen vivid, well-crafted stories take the reader on an intimate journey through the alchemies of sex, desire and love, moving across genres, orientations, genders and continents, from Bolivia to Jharkhand to Kathmandu to the future. Some of these stories will make you hungry. Some will make you laugh and one or two may even break your heart.

Karim, an independent writer based in New York spent her Fulbright-Nehru tenure at Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi working on a Historical Fiction Novel based on the Life of Razia Sultan, a 13th century empress in the Delhi Sultanate.
