Indian Fulbright Alumna featured in Art Exhibition commemorating Tagore

Manisha Bhattacharya’s art is being featured in an art exhibition in Delhi commemorating Rabindranath Tagore. Manisha was a Fulbright Arts Fellow in 2003-04 to Alfred University in New York. ‘Tagore: Lost and Found’ is being organized for the entire month of March, by the Art Bull Gallery in New Delhi.

In Tagore’s engagement with nature there seems to be a persistent search for arcadia. Seduced by this celebration of nature, the artist resists the seduction, to locate another site where another hue of peace is sought, within the paradigm of humanism. In November 2012, Manisha had presented a solo exhibition, ‘Silent Symphony’, at the Stainless Gallery in New Delhi.
