| Dr. Anandakrishnan earned his B.S and M.S. from Columbia University in electrical engineering, and a Doctorate in geosciences from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Anandakrishnan currently teaches at the Pennsylvania State University in the department of geosciences and is affiliated with the Earth System Sciences Institute. Dr. Anandakrishnan's research interests are in glaciology, ice dynamics, and sea level as it is affected by glacier and ice sheets. Dr. Anandakrishnan has numerous publications in internationally recognized journals such as Nature, Science, Journal of Glaciology, Journal of Geophysical Research, and Geophysical Research Letters, among others.
As a Fulbright-Nehru scholar Dr. Anandakrishnan will work with scientists in India to establish a cooperative program with the Pennsylvania State University in glaciological research, education, and outreach. |
