Brief Bio:

Maiedell Rose attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and at Los Angeles. She started her teaching career in Tunisia with the Peace Corps. She taught in France after Tunisia and then came to California where she has taught and raised a family for over thirty years. Her interests include reading, hiking, dancing, and traveling. She hopes the Fulbright experience will allow her to share and experience another culture and way of thinking about education and life. As a Fulbright Teacher Exchange Ms. Maiedell Rose will be teaching English at the D.P.S R.K. Puram, New Delhi. Her goal as teacher would be to share the American culture, her experience and perspective of the English language, her attitude about life and to learn the same from these students. She hopes that this will allow her to learn more about the land and its people. She believes that it is only through communication that our world will learn to live together in harmony.
