| Amy Zitzelberger currently teaches chemistry at Hazel Park High School in Hazel Park, Michigan, USA. She has been teaching for 16 years and has taught in rural, urban and suburban schools in three countries. She began her teaching career in Fiji as a Peace Corps Volunteer. After ten years of teaching chemistry in the USA, she took a sabbatical and taught english at a community college in Thailand. She earned a Master's Degree in education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She holds two Bachelor's degrees, one in chemistry education and the second in journalism, also from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Zitzelberger has published articles on her teaching methods and presented at numerous professional conferences. She is a certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, which is the highest level of certification in the United States. As a Fulbright Teacher Exchange Ms. Amy Zitzelberger will be teaching chemistry and general science at Kendriya Vidyalaya Minnambakkam in Chennai. |
