East-West Center Jefferson Fellowships Program for Journalists

The Jefferson Fellowships Program of the East-West Center is a 21-day program of professional dialogue and study tour travel for mid-career print, broadcast, and online journalists from the U.S., Asia and the Pacific. There are Spring and Fall sessions. Each session of the Jefferson Fellowships focuses on a specific theme. The program begins at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii; it includes a study tour to the U.S. mainland and/or selected Asian and Pacific countries.
