Brief Bio:
Mr. Hunter Gros is an honors graduate of Elon College, North Carolina with a B.A. in international studies and minors in leadership studies and communications. After graduation, he spent the first two years of his professional career as a seventh grade language arts teacher for students from low-income communities in Phoenix, Arizona. While teaching full-time, he earned his M.A. in education through Arizona State University. Mr. Gros is an avid hiker, swimmer, runner, biker and surfer. He also enjoys reading, watching great movies, a good beer and playing guitar.

Mr. Gros’ Fulbright project will include putting together a photographic documentary of life in India. This documentary will include historic and cultural sites, public music and performing art events, marketplaces and terrain. This photographic and video collection will allow him to show people in the United States, including future students, the India that he experienced.
