Study Objectives:
While writing and commissioning stories, I have come to appreciate India's unique geo-political position today with local developments – from terror to education to entertainment – getting increasingly intermeshed with international trends. With my Master's program in international journalism, I wish to be able to develop a larger understanding of world issues to situate seemingly local stories in a larger international context. Besides helping me become a 'global' reporter, I also look forward to acquiring skills that will equip me to delve deeper – and with authority – into the intricacies of globalization and the international political economy, global terrorism, security, and conflict resolution.
